A primeira reunião entre representantes de Leandro Castan e o Vasco, na noite da última segunda-feira, terminou sem acordo. O zagueiro, que despertou o interesse do Corinthians a pedido do técnico Fábio Carille, tem contrato com o Cruz-Maltino válido até 31 de dezembro de 2019, mas não tem decidido por onde irá atuar na próxima temporada. Um novo encontro entre as partes é esperado até quarta-feira. Enquanto não ocorre uma definição sobre o futuro do defensor, o Timão aguarda para, então, agir.

Durante este primeiro encontro, a cúpula de futebol do Vasco reafirmou aos representantes de Leandro Castan a vontade de o clube em permanecer com o zagueiro para 2019. O Cruz-Maltino, neste primeiro momento, ainda não apresentou uma proposta de ampliação do atual vínculo do defensor com o clube e bônus por metas, como era o planejado inicialmente. Apenas foi reiterado o aumento salarial a partir do mês que vem, como já determina o atual acordo de Leandro Castan em São Januário.

Por outro lado, os representantes de Leandro Castan comunicaram ao Vasco que o zagueiro vê com bons olhos a ida para o Corinthians. O desejo ficou ainda mais latente após o jogo de despedida de Emerson Sheik, na última sexta-feira, quando ele teve contato com a cúpula corintiana e alguns jogadores do clube paulista. Neste primeiro momento, para liberá-lo, o Vasco vem reafirmando a necessidade do pagamento da multa rescisória de 5 milhões de euros (R$ 22,2 milhões, na cotação atual).

Apesar de o Vasco viver um momento econômico delicado, com atraso de salários entre os funcionários, vale destacar que os vencimentos do elenco do futebol profissional em 2018, incluindo o de Leandro Castan, estão em dia – a folha de novembro, pelo acordo entre a diretoria e os jogadores, deve ser paga até o dia 20 de dezembro. Apenas atletas que estão em São Januário desde 2017 que possuem débitos em atraso – folha de dezembro, décimo terceiro e férias do ano passado.

Vale destacar também que um trunfo do Corinthians para avançar em uma negociação com Leandro Castan é o fato de Fábio Carille ter indicado o zagueiro para o clube em 2010, após destaque do atleta no Grêmio Barueri no ano anterior. Atualmente, o elenco do Timão conta com quatro zagueiros: Henrique e Léo Santos, que vinham sendo titulares, além de Pedro Henrique e Marllon. Andrés Sanchez, atual presidente do Corinthians, também é próximo ao jogador, o que pode ajudar na evolução das conversas.

Leandro Castan, de 32 anos, retornou ao Brasil nesta temporada após quase sete anos no futebol da Itália. No Vasco, confirmou rapidamente o status de titular, sendo fundamental na permanência da equipe na elite nacional. Em São Januário, o defensor entrou em campo 15 vezes, com quatro vitórias, sete empates e quatro derrotas – e não fez gols. No atual cenário, uma permanência de Leandro Castan no Cruz-Maltino seria facilitada caso ocorra a renovação contratual de forma antecipada.

ويرغب ميكالي في خوض ودية خلال معسكر أبريل، حيث يتصدر منتخبا الكونغو والسودان قائمة المرشحين لهذه المواجهة.

Dhoni also said conditions in Sri Lanka had changed over the years and there wasn’t much help for spinners during India’s limited-overs tour to the country in July and August.”We are a team who rely strongly on batting. But some of the top batsmen play the role of part-timers,” Dhoni said after arriving in Colombo for the World Twenty20. “In T20 cricket, part-timers are very important. Our part-timers have been doing well.”We also don’t have a genuine all-rounder so we have to rely on part-time bowlers who are specialist batsmen. Yuvraj [Singh] is one and we have Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina. They will chip in an over each and that makes it a lot easier for us.”Dhoni was pleased to have Yuvraj back in the side but refused to comment on his selection soon after recovering from a rare cancer. “It’s a selection matter. But I am happy that he is in the team as he is a champion player and a match-winner. He also brings a balance in the team as in T20 cricket you don’t include a fifth bowler.”India will be based in Colombo during the World Twenty20.
